All that hard work raising money on Tim Horton’s Camp Day last Wednesday is paying off for the wrong people.
Saugeen Shores Police are investigating the theft of the money collection box at Tim Horton’s in Southampton from Friday night.
It contained donations for the Tim Horton’s Children’s Foundation.
Police say two females entered the store just before midnight – one went straight to the washroom, while the other approached the counter.
A girl standing about five foot 8 with a thin build, medium length blonde hair, and black hoodie with a purple design on the front, blue jeans and sandals later came out of the washroom.
She then had her hoodie pulled up – and had on fake black glasses and a fake big nose for a disguise, and took off with the donation box.
The other female suspect is decribed as having a medium build, longer brown/reddish hair; she was wearing a royal blue hooded sweater with gold lettering on front “UBC”, blue jeans and sandals at the time.
Police say a male was waiting for the two suspects outside in small 2 door coupe, possibly a Pontiac Sunfire, with a small rear spoiler, and they took off.
The male is described as being about 18-24 yrs, five foot eight, with a muscular build, dark short hair.
At the time he was wearing a blue/teal pin striped golf shirt, khaki cargo shorts and dark strapped sandals.
