A bear is lurking in Saugeen Shores this morning.
Saugeen Shores Police say the black bear was initially spotted on Green Street in Port Elgin, in the downtown core around 6 AM.
They say they followed it as it moved north towards Legault’s Independant Grocer and ultimately in the woods to the west of the store.
Police say if you are out for a morning walk – keep this news in mind, and of course don’t approach it.
If you see it again, don’t hesitate to call police and let them know.
