It will be familiar face at Clearview township council as a former councillor takes over the seat in Ward Three left open by the death of John Crispo.
Marc Royal has been appointed to fill the seat for the remainder of the term.
Crispo died in early April following a long battle with cancer, and the seat was declared vacant in May.
Royal was the incument in the 2006 municipal elections in Ward 3, but lost to Crispo.
Oddly enough, Royal had been appointed to Clearview council in 2004 following the death of the previous councillor, Ian Lang.
