Grey County OPP have a man in custody in connection with a bizarre visit to a school in Southgate.
Police were called to Highpoint Community Elementary School last Thursday after being notified of a suspicious male that was present during the school’s track and field meet who put his arm around a student.
A man was later observed drinking at a nearby house and students found him passed out in a driveway after school.
He was taken into police custody and kept in Markdale hospital for observation.
A 24 year-old Dundalk man is charged with Failing to Comply with a Recognizance, Breach of Probation, and Public Intoxication.
A bail hearing was held this morning in Owen Sound.
