A note about the Saugeen Shores Rail Trail at the South end of Port Elgin.
Extensive work is taking place today, as efforts to clean it up continue.
Public Relations Coordinator Joyce Scammel says now through Monday – repair work and construction involving heavy equipment is going on.
Scammel suggests anyone who sees the equipment while using the trail – get off of it, to avoid possible injuries.
Work is concentrated on — but not limited to — the portion of the trail near WalMart.
