The Township of Georgian Bluffs will consider changing their water and sewer fees along the sunset strip.
Council will be looking for feedback from residents and business owners on the sunset strip regarding water and sewer costs.
Councillor Tom Wylie says they will host a public meeting for people to come forward with comments and concerns.
Wylie says the proposed new fee will vary according to the number of gallons each customer brings to the lagoon.
He says there will be a slight increase for some lower end users on the strip and a larger increase for the higher end users such as McDonalds and Galaxy Cinema’s
Wylie adds the higher end users will actually see a reduction if the new billing formula is accepted.
Wylie says the issue was brought forward after having customers question the current billing formula.
A date for the public meeting has not been set.
Wylie says he encourages all users to keep an eye out for when the meeting will be held because everyone’s opinion is valued.
