The Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority is out with a high water bulletin following a day of a lot of rain.
The NVCA says, though, not to expect serious flooding, just raised water levels.
As of last night, the areas to the south of Wasaga Beach had received up to 50 millimetres of rain, which is now washing downstream toward the bay.
Current forecasts are for a possible 20 more millimetres in thunderstorms today.
There could be minor flooding of low-lying areas and the conservation authority is asking parents to keep their children and pets away from creek and riverbanks.
