The search for a suspect following an armed robbery in Port Elgin continues.
It happened back on May 7th at the Petro Canada Gas Bar on Goderich Street just before 10:30 at night.
Saugeen Shores Police Sergeant Dave Butcher says a man with a handgun entered the store and confronted the store employee and got away with cash, and other items from behind the counter.
A metal cash box was also taken.
The suspect is described as being white, six feet tall and thin with blond/brown hair at about 160-170 pounds in his 20’s.
Butcher says at the time of the robbery, he was wearing a grey or blue hoody sweater, dark pants and brown footwear.
He was also wearing yellow rubber gloves.
