There will be no repeat tonight of last night’s widespread power outage affecting Collingwood and Clearview Township.
Electricity was off for more than three hours for 72-hundred people in the area last evening, after Hydro One had trouble with a transformer in Stayner.
Hydro One says a new transformer has been installed as part of the work to rebuild and upgrade the power station.
Spokesperson Danielle Gauvin says most of the back-up systems were off-line at the time of the outage because of the upgrade work.
She says they aren’t planning any more outages.
