A 28 year old woman from Saugeen First Nation faces drug charges following a search of a home on Scotch Settlement Road.
Bruce Peninsula OPP, along with members of the Drug Enforcement Section of the Police Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau and the Western Region Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant Tuesday.
Police say that’s when they discovered an indoor cannabis marijuana grow operation.
Marijuana plants and dried marijuana with a potential street value of 20 thousand dollars was seized, along with some cash and equipment.
Lindsay Ritchie was arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cannabis Marihuana and Production of Cannabis Marihuana.
The investigation continues and further charges are expected.
Ritchie will appear in court next on July 13th.
