The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre is continuing a partnership it has with the county’s 18 library branches.
Last year it was called Read All About It, this year the name is Look No Further.
Museum Curator Barbara Ribey says there was a 41 per cent response last year from people who received a free pass to the museum simply by presenting their library card.
She says those who get a free pass to the museum also have the opportunity to get a 25 per cent discount on a museum membership.
Four percent of the new memberships last year were a result of the campaign.
County Library Director Marzio Apolloni says the partnership only costs time, and there’s plenty of that.
He says the program serves to profile the library system and benefit the musuem.
Apolloni says culture is something that is sustainable and always there, and can be well marketed in Bruce County.
Ribey is hoping to increase participation in this year’s campaign to over fifty perecent participation.
