The former owner of Steelback Brewery is now facing charges in connection with an ongoing investigation into the actions of a 28 year veteran of the OPP.
Sergeant Michael Rutigliano is charged with interfering in Frank D’Angelo’s recent sexual assault case — in which he was acquitted.
The former owner of Steelback in Tiverton was today charged with conspiracy to obstruct justice and obstructing justice.
Rutigliano faces two charges dealing with D’Angelo’s case and seven charges of allegedly trying to defraud Bombardier of 15 million dollars.
Court documents show Rutigliano is alleged to have conspired with a Crown attorney and others to obstruct the D’Angelo case.
