Saugeen Shores Councillor Luke Charbonneau it’s something that needs to be discussed in order to solve the barriers to full accessibilty that exist in the area.
Charbonneau says it is an important issue considering the province will soon be mandating full accessibility for municipalities.
He says during public meetings on the Community Improvement Plan, the committee heard several comments about accessibility issues for both private businesses and public services in downtown Port Elgin.
