Owen Sound’s Recreation and Parks committee is holding a public meeting to discuss ice time at the city’s two arenas.
Community services director Pam Coulter says the policy on who gets ice time, and who gets priority, hasn’t been revised in over a decade.
She is hoping school board officials, mens and womens organized leagues and minor sports league officials will all take part.
Coulter says once they get feedback from the public, the committee will put together a new policy on allocating ice time at Owen Sound arenas.
The public meeting is Thursday night at 7 PM in city hall.
A presentation will be made at the start of the meeting and copies of the existing policy will be available.
