A 51 year old Saugeen First Nation man has been arrested following an incident early today.
OPP were called to a home on French Bay road just after 8 o’clock on a report of a shot being fired.
When police arrived, they were told a shot had been fired at a person in that area.
Emergency response Team members surrounded a home and were waiting for members of the OPP True team to arrive when the suspect came out of the house and gave himself up.
The whole incident lasted a couple of hours and there was plenty of police activity in the area at the time.
No one was injured and police are searching for a weapon in the home before deciding on whether to lay charges.
