The battle is not yet over for Cedar Run.
The Equestrian facility near Thornbury is still hoping to be chosen as host for some events should Toronto be awarded the 2015 Pan Am Games.
The Caledon Equestrian Park in Palgrave has been chosen for the Show Jumping portion of the Equestrian competition.
But officials with Cedar Run say they’re still hoping to be chosen to host the Eventing and Dressage competitions.
Toronto is among the bidding locations for the 2015 games, up against Lima, Peru and Bogota, Columbia.
The winning bid will be announced over the summer.
