The 24th annual Juried Art Show is now open for viewing at the Walkerton Library.
Branch Supervisor Tracey Knapp says the response to their request for artwork was as strong as ever for the show.
Knapp says the received 120 entries from their request in March for oil or acrylic work, drawing, 3 dimensional, photography and mixed mediums.
The pieces were judged and now the selections are on dispaly at the Walkerton Library until May 1st.
Knapp says there were a large turnout for acrylic and oil as well as photography this year – with many new artists emerging this year.
Artists from all over Grey and Bruce submitted work.
Knapp believes the event is always popular because of the timing in the spring and the emerging artists that live in the area.
The show runs during regular library hours until Saturday May 1st.
