Over 8-thousand people in the region are in the dark this afternoon.
Hydro One says the affected areas include Sauble Beach, Saugeen Shores, Owen Sound, Meaford, and Collingwood.
The cause for the power outage has not been reported.
Hydro One says the power should be restored around 7 o’clock tonight.
