A group of local students will be show casing their ‘green sides’ at a climate change summit to co ordinate with Earth Day.
Its being organized by senior students at Bruce Peninsula District School in Lion’s Head.
Student Megan Myles says they’ve tried to include every sector of the community and every age group.
She says they’ve invited several groups to take part in today’s summit including the Bruce Peninsula Environmental Group, the Bruce Peninsula Biosphere Association as well as members of council and the school board.
In fact..the students have invited so many groups that they’ve had to move the summit location to the Rotary Hall in Lion’s Head.
The public is also welcome to attend the Climate Change summit which is being held today — Earth Day from 12:20 PM to 2:30 PM.
