The 77th Grey County Kiwanis Festival of Music is wrapping up.
Tonight is the final concert for the festival stars.
There were over 620 entries in the vocal and instrumental categories in this year’s festival, a decline compared to the past 2 years.
The musicians have been competing at various venues throughout Owen Sound and Meaford for the past two weeks.
The final concerts feature the best performances in each discipline along with the presentation of awards.
Last night was the Concert of Festival Stars for soloists and small groups.
Tonight the bands, orchestras and choirs will perform.
Over 14-thousand dollars will be handed out in this year’s Awards of Excellence.
The concert starts at 7:30 PM tonight at the OSCVI auditorium.
Admission is 5 dollars.
