Doctor recruitment efforts in Chesley have improved.
A cheque for 29 hundred dollars was presented yesterday by Chesley’s Grand Olde Opry to improve the Locum Loft.
It’s accommodation for visiting doctors who work at the medical clinic — and the money will be spent to upgrade the two bedroom apartment.
The Chesley Kinsmen Club also recently donated 25 thousand dollars for the medical clinic expansion project.
The goal is to raise 500 thousand dollars to double the size of the clinic to make room for the Family Health Team.
