The Fraser Institutes 2009 ranking of High Schools in Grey Bruce has been released.
This years results are determined from the 2007-08 EQAO tests for math and the Ontario secondary school literacy test.
A perfect score would be 10.
No Grey Bruce high schools scored that high.
Saugeen District Secondary in Port Elgin received the highest score at 7.9 — tied for 113th place and above its five-year average score of 7.3.
Kincardine District had the next best score at 7.8.
At the low end of the scale — Bruce Peninsula in Lions Head scored only 4.4 followed by Georgian Bay Secondary in Meaford at 4.5 and Grey Highlands in Flesherton at 4.8.
