A 52 year old Meaford man is facing a list of charges after a tirade at the hospital.
Grey County OPP say the man, who’d fallen off his bicycle on Saturday was taken to Meaford hospital.
While being assessed for treatment he became agitated and aggressive.
Police say the man found a metal chain belt in the emergency room and swung it at staff members threatening them.
Officers say he was also out of control while being arrested.
He’s been charged with several offences including possession of a dangerous weapon, assault and resisting arrest.
