A 43 year old Saugeen Shores man is fighting for his life after crashing his ATV.
Saugeen Shores Police responded to the crash on Carlisle Street just north of High Street in Southampton last night around 9 o’clock.
Police say the man was on the all terrain vehicle, following his wife on her own ATV at the time.
Both made turning movements to head south, and when the woman looked back, for her husband, she saw him laying at the side of road.
Exactly what happened is not known.
Police say the man was taken to Southampton hospital and later airlifted to London’s Victoria Hospital where he remains with serious life threatening injuries.
Police, along with the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators continue to investigate.
