There will be a local connection to Boston Marathon today.
About a dozen residents from Port Elgin to Collingwood will be among the 26 thousand runners in the world’s oldest annual marathon.
There will be four Owen Sound residents in the race — including Ann Elford, Karen Poste, Martin Williams and Doug Barber.
There will also be four Meaford residents in the race — Curtis Coyne, Kevin Knight, Paula Lockyer and David Postings Senior.
William Kischuck and Brian Hilbers of Saugeen Shores will also run today.
Also in the race — Barbara Holland of Collingwood and Mike McCluskey of Wasaga Beach.
