The Interim Progressive Conservative Leader says the fact that Ontario is now considered a have not Province does not bode well for future investment in the Province.

Runciman also the level of taxation in Ontario also is a deterrent to investment and adding have not status on top of that does not paint a very pretty picture of the provinces economic future.
He says the have not designation makes him feel very sad to see a Province that once was an economic leader and provided assistance to other now drop to the back of the pack.
For the first time since Confederation, Ontario now is receiving equalization payments from the Federal Government.
