It could be called handyman heaven.
There are a number of Home and Garden Shows taking place around the region this weekend — including Port Elgin, Walkerton and Hanover.
The Owen Sound Home and Cottage Expo is also underway and showcases more than 140 exhibits — providing a wealth of information on ways to spruce up your home or cottage and save money.
Doors opened at 10 AM this morning and it continues until 5 PM.
The doors will open again at 10 AM tomorrow and the show runs till 4 PM.
Doug Cleverley is the Owen Sound Events Facilitator and says there 40 new exhibitors this year along with an expanded Home Energy Showcase.
He says one exhibitor, Britannia Conservatories has come all the way from Saskatchewan to display its products.
Cleverley notes as everyone try’s to be more environmentally friendly — the Home Energy Showcase will show people how to reduce their energy consumption and save them money.
