A number of local communities are holding Home Shows this weekend.
The Owen Sound Home and Cottage Expo is being held tomorrow and Sunday at the Bayshore Community Centre.
The 27th annual Port Elgin Rotary Club Home and Rec Show begins today and continues tomorrow and Sunday at the Plex.
The Walkerton Home and Garden Show is also taking place this weekend — and Hanover also hosts its first ever Home and Garden Show this weekend.
The doors open at 5 o’clock today at the Hanover Coliseum and continues tomorrow and Sunday.
Hanover Show Director Dave Schefter says they have more than 80 vendors — including some of the new environmentally friendly products.
He calls it a great opportunity for homeowners to talk with the experts and gain valuable advice about their projects.
Admission to the Hanover Home and Garden Show is 4 dollars — children under 12 get in free.
