Students in Junior Kindargarten through Grade 3 and their parents are invited to Math Help Night at Kincardine Tiverton Township Public School.
It runs tonight from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
Learning Resource Teacher Jane Calcutt says the event is offered once each year at KTTPS — with the focus alternating from literacy to math each year.
Calcutt says the purpose of the evening is to give primary children and their parents to have “fun” with real life math.
She says they will have various work stations set up – all with math twist – so the students can learn and have fun.
They’ll be using things like smarties for example to learn about probability and data management.
Calcutt says event the snack and beverage of the night — has a mathematical twist.
