The stars are beginning to align and that could see a return to the Conservative Caucus by Bill Murdoch.
The Bruce Grey Owen Sound MPP says before that can happen he wants to meet with the four Leadership Candidates to get their views on some of the changes that have been made to caucus.
Murdoch was kicked out of the party caucus last year after he criticized then leader John Tory.
Murdoch says he wants to make sure whoever is elected as party leader will respect those changes once they take over and not revert to the old way of appointing the caucus chair.
He applauds the fact that one of the first things Bob Runciman did when becoming interim leader was allow the caucus members to elect its chair.
In addition Murdoch says Runciman also has brought back several Tory staff members that had been exiled by then leader John Tory, and he says that is a step in the right direction.
He also feels that a decision about his return to the Tory fold could come as early as the middle of next week.
Murdoch says he also is agreeable to a request from the Interim leader that he take on the role of one of the Government critics if he returns to caucus.
