South Bruce OPP are investigating a farm accident just north of Hanover, which left a man with serious injuries.
It happened yesterday afternoon at about 4:30 PM on Concession 2 of Brant township.
Farm workers at a mushroom farm were filling seed-bed areas.
63 year old Howard Barfield of Brant Township, got his clothing entangled in a converted forage wagon and he was pulled into the auger system.
An Emergency room doctor from Hanover hospital was rushed to the scene and the Walkerton Fire Department extricated Barfield from the unit.
Brant Township Concession 2 was closed for an Air ambulance landing on the roadway allowing Barfield to be air lifted to Victoria Hospital in London in serious condition.
Ministry of Labour and South Bruce OPP continue with their investigation.
