Real Estate agents in the Georgian Triangle are starting to see a spring bounce in the markets, although sales and prices remain way down from last year.
First quarter figures for the Georgian Triangle Real Estate Board show 1317 listings January to March, compared with 1342 for the same period last year.
But only 238 properties sold in Wasaga Beach, Clearview, Collingwood and Blue Mountains — compared with 394 last year.
Those transactions were worth nearly 56 million dollars, compared with 105 million dollars last year.
In March, there were a number of homes that drew multiple offers with low interest rates getting the credit for some improvement in the month.
The latest numbers show sales down in all major price categories.
Only one home work over a million dollars sold in the latest quarter, compared with six in the first quarter of last year.
