In response to a number of driving complaints from Oro-Medonte residents, Ward 4 Councillor Shawn Scott has started a “Please Slow Down” campaign.
It includes signs purchased by Scott that will be set up in areas that have been identified by constituents as problem areas.
Constituent feedback on the success of the campaign has been overwhelmingly positive. As a result, Councillor Cathy Keane (Oro-Medonte Ward 3 Councillor) has adopted the idea and will be placing signs out in the near future.
Councillor Scott wishes to thank the OPP, who have assured (and verified by constituents) that increased enforcement has been taking place.
