If you’re planning on heading to downtown Collingwood on Sunday, there won’t be as many parking spaces available.
Hurontario Street between 2nd and 3rd Streets will be closed from about 8 AM to roughly 3 or 4 PM for the Optimist Club’s World Championship of Bed Races.
The event runs from 11 AM to about 2 PM depending on the number of teams competing, but time is needed to set up and tear down.
Teams from Wasaga Beach, Stayner, Collingwood and other surrounding communities will be taking part.
