There are a lot of people in Kincardine driving over the speed limit.
Recently, South Bruce OPP put out a mobile speed sign throughout different locations in the municipality.
Statistics show many are driving over the posted limit.
Of 5,230 vehicles clocked by the sign, 74 per cent (3,849) were over the limit in general.
Eleven per cent (596) were travelling in excess of 20 km/h or more.
One vehicle was clocked in a 40 km/h zone at an incredible 109 km/hour.
South Bruce OPP remind drivers — travelling more than 50 km/h or more over the posted limit, results in an immediate seven day license suspension, having their vehicle impounded for seven days, along with a hefty fine.
Police encourage all motorists to adhere to the speed limit anywhere they are.
