Grey County OPP are looking for those who dumped a large number of tires in a ditch in Georgian Bluffs.
Police say the tires, more than 50 in all, were discovered late last week in the bush off the Old School Road northwest of Jackson.
Investigators figure the tires have been there for a while but have recently been uncovered by the spring thaw.
In addition to the tires — a car transmission was also found.
Police say given the wide variety and sizes of the tires it appears as if they were dumped by someone who deals in tires or someone contracted to collect them who isn’t taking them to the dump as they’re supposed to.
A similar incident was reported by Grey County OPP last year.
