Owen Sound Police and the OPP in Bruce and Grey Counties are reporting a large amount of thefts from vehicles.
City Police report several items have been stolen from unlocked vehicles in the last week — from wallets to GPS units to IPOD’s to computers to CD and DVD players.
South Bruce OPP report a rash of thefts from vehicles in Huron Kinloss, Paisley, Chesley, Mildmay and Cargill.
The items stolen include a GPS, cell phone, digital camera, makeup and loose change.
Police remind you these crimes can be prevented by locking your vehicles and taking your valuables inside your home.
