Owen Sound police are quite concerned about the theft of drugs from an east side veterinary clinic.
The stolen drugs can be quite dangerous in the wrong hands…
Police say the alarm went off just before 8:30 PM Sunday and despite them arriving in less than two minutes — the culprits were gone.
Three kinds of powerful drugs were stolen including Ketamine, an anaesthetic known as Special K on the street.
Some of its adverse side effects include hallucinations, disorientation and elevated heart rate.
Hydro-morphone is considerably stronger than morphine or heroin and side effects can include respiratory or circulatory collapse.
The third drug is a ketamine-valium mix and is not safe for human consumption at all.
Police say all the stolen drugs were in glass containers in liquid form.
Anyone finding the containers or anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Owen Sound Police or Crime Stoppers.
Residents are also being advised to report any suspicious activity around their local vet clinics.
