A new program starts today at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre.
Program Coordinator Nancy White says each Wednesday now through May 13th, they will be hosting “Adventure Talks” from 10 AM – 11:30 AM.
White says the talks are designed for adults with an interest in local history, current affairs, travel, the arts, entertainment, and the environment.
The series’ first guest is Clarke Birchard – who will focus on Easy Adventures Close to Home.
Birchard is a retired educator and local naturalist who went on two sea kayaking trips after retirement.
White says he will offer a sampling of personal experiences in Bruce and Grey that are relatively inexpensive, fun and educational.
A complete list of each week’s presenter is on the museum’s website at www.brucemuseum.ca
Museum members can enjoy the talks for free and it’s five dollars for non members.
