Former SCI student Brigadier General Denis Thompson is speaking at a school assembly today about the role of Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan.
Thompson has recently returned home from serving as the Commanding Officer for the Canadian Forces in Afghanistan.
The assembly, which is open to the public, is at one o’clock.
But before Thompson heads to SCI, he’ll be speaking to Collingwood Council at a special meeting at the Legion at 9 AM.
Anyone who wishes to attend is encouraged to wear red in support of our military.
