In these tough times for businesses — it’s nice to see a new store opening up in Owen Sound.
Frankly Scarlett, a woman’s jewellery and accessory store, has opened its doors at the Heritage Place Shopping Centre.
Owner Susan Elgie says they’ve had great success with a similar store in Port Stanley that’s been open since last Spring.
She says while other businesses are finding it a tough row to hoe these days Frankly Scarlett has found that offering well priced pick-me-up items seems to be successful.
Elgie says she picked Owen Sound because of their previous success with her Ashtons of London franchise which is now located only in London.
