There will be no more bottled water sales at the Hanover and District Hospital.
The Hospital announced at last nights Board meeting that they are stopping the sale of bottled water after having an ultra-violet water filtering system installed at the hospital.
CEO Katrina Wilson says the town water is already safe to drink but this process will make it better.
She calls it enhanced town water.
She says the water goes through UV light and a mineralization process making the water very tasty.
Wilson says they have been using the water filtering process for several months.
She says there is nothing healthier in Hanover than our drinking water.
Wilson says in order to encourage patients, staff, and visitors to use the water they are stopping the sale of bottled water in the hospital.
She says it is not a complete ban adding people can still bring bottled water into the hospital.
