The Federal Indian Affairs Minister will be in the region today.
Chuck Strahl has scheduled a news conference at 10 AM this morning at Cape Croker with Bruce Grey Owen Sound MP Larry Miller.
Strahl was in Sarnia yesterday where he announced 65 million dollars in federal money to improve housing on the province’s First Nations reserves.
The money is Ontario’s portion of a 400-million dollar commitment over the next two years from the federal budget, which was finally passed last week.
It’s hoped the money will create jobs, develop skilled trades and build small businesses in many First Nations and rural areas.
