Huron Bruce Conservative MP Ben Lobb is putting together some passport clinics and you’re invited.
On Soundingboard Lobb told us a clinic will be held tonight from 6:30 PM to 9 PM at the Port Elgin Legion.
Lobb says as of June, you will not be able to travel in the U-S without a passport and this clinic is to get the paperwork done and then he will make sure it gets to Ottawa for processing.
Candidates should come with identification such as an original birth certificate or Canadian Citizenship card.
Also two identical passport photos are necessary that have been signed by your guarantor.
A guarantor is a person who already has a passport and you have known for 2 years or more.
The cost is 87 dollars for an adult by certified cheque, credit card or money order.
Children under 16 cost 37 dollars.
Another clinic will be held tomorrow at the Lucknow Legion.
