Another scam to be aware of in the region.
Apparently someone is calling residents in the Kincardine area – and claiming to be collecting funds for the Anglican Church of the Messiah.
The church confirms, it is not making these calls, and would never ask for funds over the phone.
The OPP have been contacted about the haux, and anyone who receives a call from the so – called church, is asked to call police, and let them know.
