A workshop is being held today in Mount Forest on Protecting Water And the environment.
It will give landowners near the sources of the Saugeen and Grand rivers information on protecting water on their property and downstream.
The day-long event is designed for those with a pond, creek or wetland on their property.
The workshop will look at the impact of land uses, and ways of working around water to protect water quality.
It is hosted by the Headwaters Healthy Wetlands program, a partnership of Ducks Unlimited and area conservation authorities for the Grand and Saugeen River systems.
The workshop runs from 10 AM to 2:30 PM today at the Mount Forest Legion.
