With the infrastructure money announced recently, it means it’s going to a busy place near Teeswater soon.
South Bruce Mayor Bill Goetz says they’re getting 13.2-million dollars and he says they were rather surprised they got the money.
Goetz says they tried three times before and got nothing but the fourth time proved to be the charm.
Goetz says the money will be used for sewer work in Teeswater and Formosa.
He says they’re planning to put in a plant on the east side of Teeswater and will pump sewage from Formosa to that plant.
Goetz says they’ve still got cross the “t’s” and dot the “i’s” but they hope to get started on the construction this year.
He says it will likely take three years to complete.
