You may have noticed changes happening at Sauble Amusements.
The amusement park has been bought out by Robertson Amusements of Orangeville and work is underway on redesigning the park.
Manager Chris Patrie says landscaping work is underway and the nearly 30 year old waterslid has been demolished.
Robertson is known as “Canada’s Travelling Theme Park” and Patrie says they will have a 9 storey Gondola ferris wheel, and a 100 foot tower free fall drop zone installed at Sauble Beach in the next few weeks.
He says you’ll be able to sit on top of the Ferris wheel and overlook Lake Huron.
No word on the number of jobs being created but they hope to open a week before the May 2-4 weekend.
Patrie says Robertson Amusements will be good for tourism in the Sauble Beach area.
