A new man at the helm at Grey County OPP for a while anyway.
Detachment Commander, Inspector Mark Vanlanduyt has been temporarily sent to fill a void at the Wellington County Detachment.
Once they find a permanent Detachment Commander in Wellington — Vanlanduyt is expected to return to Grey County.
Inspector John Periversoff will take over at Grey County for the time being and says he looks forward to working with the Police Services Board, fellow officers and residents of Grey County.
Periversoff says “the area’s beauty is eclipsed only by the kind and law-abiding spirit of the community”
