Icy roads may have been a factor in a chain-reaction crash that closed parts of Highway 400 in Bradford today.
The crash involved a tractor-trailer and four other vehicles.
Police say the truck went out of control and plowed through the centre barrier between Highways 88 and 89.
O-P-P say a 40 year old man has been taken to a hospital in toronto in critical condition.
Another driver was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The 400 had been closed since the crash around 7:30 am until around 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
Police continue their investigation.
